Educator Strong Peer Support Group (Online)
A peer support group focused on how your trauma is currently affecting your life. We will also be discussing and sharing resiliency strategies and how our lived experience has given us the opportunity for growth.
Positive Mind/Positive Body (Online)
There is a strong link between "positivity" and health. Studies have found that a positive attitude improves outcomes and life satisfaction across a spectrum of conditions. Another thought is that hope and positivity help us make better health and life decisions. Positive Mind, Positive Body will mix positive psychology with yoga (regulatory).
Survivor Strong – Weathering the Storm (Online)
This is a peer support group. We will be discussing and sharing resiliency strategies and how our lived experience has given us the opportunity for growth. We will share tools and resources to help us move forward and receive and offer support.
Book Discussion – The Little Prince (Online)
A guided book discussion on The Little Prince, a novella by French aristocrat, writer and military aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupery that addresses themes of loneliness, friendship, love and loss.
Educator Strong Peer Support Group (Online)
Giving and receiving support and sharing a sense of community are important resilience builders. This peer support group is a safe, confidential place to feel connected with other educators, and brainstorm ways to cope and discover how Resilient Retreat can continue to be a support to educators.
Reflective Journaling (In-Person)
This workshop will introduce how journaling can be used as a tool for healing, releasing, responding to situations with purpose, mindful awareness, and reminding yourself of what is positive in your life. This may include prompted writing exercises and group discussions. To register, call 941-343-0039.
