Recognize signs and symptoms, the prevalence in your workplace, and strategies to prevent/treat it.
Develop tangible tools to use with your colleagues that are struggling or suffering.
Well-Being During COVID-19
Evidence-based strategies to better cope and thrive during the pandemic.
Identify research-based strategies that promote wellness, resiliency, and growth.
Discuss the importance of strengths vs. deficits, cultural and identity restoration, and empowerment.
Advance organizational change that can prevent turnover, improve work productivity, and promote a thriving work culture.
Provide hands on activities shown to improve wellness (e.g, art, meditation, yoga, and nutrition courses).
*Note: Trainings can be offered online or in person (at your location or on our 84 acres of conservation land).
Who Have We Served?
“As a Nurse Practitioner in Public Health, I have attended many trainings on trauma and compassion fatigue. I have never attended a webinar as interactive, interesting, and impactful as the ones with Resilient Retreat. Through the series with Mandy, I have learned new trauma-informed care facts, tangible tools, and practical tips on how to put them into practice. It helped me reflect on ways I can better support my team, families in the community, as well as enforce time for myself. I continue to be amazed at the incredible team at Resilient Retreat and am thankful for the leadership and innovative ways to deliver this pertinent information”
Dr. Chelsea Arnold
“Resilient Retreat truly understands the needs of ‘helping professionals’ like no one else does. Over the course of two workshops, RR spoke to us and to the staff at the many agencies on our Campus of Caring about how we can identify and support ourselves and each other as we help others navigate life’s challenges.”
Dr. Kameron Hodgens
“Who knew that one of the top 3 ways to build resilience was for people to create and share narratives? Totally love the tie-in to my work in courageous and daring leadership – this research and Resilient Retreat – are a treasure to all professionals seeking information on how to battle burnout and overcome compassion fatigue.”
“For over 20 years I’ve been speaking to the importance of managers taking care of themselves as well as their teams. I loved the way Mandy from Resilient Retreat personalized self-care, providing resources and research that back up these important leadership practices!”
“It was enlightening to learn the emerging research on chronic stress and trauma on those of us working with front-line nonprofit workers. Kudos to Resilient Retreat for bringing this work to our team retreat to affirm the work we’re doing – we’ve officially added RR as a critical resource we share with our clients in need of self-care, self-compassion and mental well-being.”
“Mandy did a wonderful job of reframing the concept of compassion fatigue for our group. I appreciated the focus on compassion satisfaction and the tangible ways in which we can start today to create greater resilience within ourselves and with our teams.”
Dr. Casey Gilbert
“As a professor, I appreciated the data-driven work that Resilient Retreat is providing in their presentations and our communities. Rest-assured self-care, resilience and compassion satisfaction will be on my syllabus for our rising leaders for years to come!”
