    This is a peer support group, facilitated by the Director of Wellness, Joyce Carter. The focus will be on how your trauma is currently affecting your life. We will also be discussing and sharing resiliency strategies and how our lived experience has given us the opportunity for growth.

  • Trauma Informed Chair Yoga (Online)

    We practice chair yoga because we want to reap the benefits of a yoga practice but getting on the floor is either inconvenient or not possible. We want to relieve stress, learn to breathe effectively, improve our circulation, increase our mobility and flexibility, strengthen our bodies and seek an overall sense of calm.

  • Vinyasa Flow Hatha Yoga (In-Person)

    Vinyasa in the Ashtanga tradition means breath synchronized movement. Poses linked together by the breath. This program will synchronize movement with breathing.

The focus is on identifying current emotions that deregulate us, recognizing the link to past experiences and organizing both sets of information into opportunities to regulate our brain circuitry.
