The Director of Development & Donor Relations is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing Resilient Retreat’s annual fundraising plan and strategic plan in support of our mission. The Director of Development & Donor Relations will report directly to the Executive Director and provide direction to the Administrative Assistant on development-related projects and operations. The Director of Development & Donor Relations spends significant time cultivating and stewarding donors, including individuals, organizations, and corporate partners. Given that Resilient Retreat is a young organization, the Director of Development & Donor Relations will have the opportunity to leave a lasting impact on the financial stability of the organization.

Director of Major Gifts

Under the direction of the Executive Director of Resilient Retreat, the Director of Major Gifts is responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of individuals, organizations, private foundations and businesses/corporations in Major Gift fundraising activities for Resilient Retreat. Develops and implements strategies for cultivating relationships, matching Resilient Retreat’s projects and needs with donor interests, researching donor capacity and donor interrelationships with Resilient Retreat supporters, volunteers and staff. Anticipated salary range is $80k – $95k, dependent on experience, skills, and education.
