Jennifer Ourednik, M.N.M., is a veteran nonprofit leader and human services professional with more than twenty-five years of experience advancing compassionate, equitable services for vulnerable populations. Her career reflects an unwavering commitment to mission-driven organizations, and she brings to each role a deep belief that organizational excellence, human dignity, and kindness are inseparable.
Jennifer’s professional identity is grounded in trauma-informed principles, and she has dedicated her career to building and sustaining organizations that understand the pervasive impact of trauma and respond with intentionality and care.
Before stepping into her current role, Jennifer spent eight years as a senior operations executive at one of the region’s largest early childhood nonprofits, providing executive-level leadership across federally funded programs serving hundreds of low-income children and families. Earlier in her career, she administered human services grants on behalf of Sarasota County government, overseeing funding allocations to community nonprofits and ensuring grant dollars were deployed effectively and equitably. She also directed residential and community-based programs for at-risk youth and developed youth programming for a regional youth-serving organization — a breadth of experience that has shaped her understanding of the full continuum of human services and the systems that support vulnerable people across the lifespan.
A collaborative leader known for building strong teams and sustaining organizational cultures rooted in resilience and kindness, Jennifer also gives back to her community through active civic engagement. She currently serves as Board Chair of the Sarasota County Community Action Agency.
