FAQ

Resilient Retreat is a non-profit that offers free and confidential services for community members impacted by trauma, specifically survivors of abuse and professionals that witness trauma in the workplace (e.g., police officers, fire fighters, teachers, and many non-profit workers). We offer research-based wrap around services that address the impact of trauma on the mind, body, and spirit, such as animal therapy, yoga, massage, art/music therapy, and much more. While we are in the process of building our future home on our 84 acres of land, Resilient Retreat offers a kind line answered by trauma-informed staff, day programs, and community trainings on trauma.

Resilient Retreat is breaking ground on our campus and future home! After two years of working on these plans, we want to invite the community to see our building plans and invite YOU to be part of this movement.

Before the movie begins (between 4:30-6:30 pm), you will be able to take a tour of our 84 acres of conservation land. This is a driving tour, so you can do it from the comfort and safety of your own car.

Our center is projected to be completed in 2022. We will have the capacity to welcome up to 30 people for overnight trauma retreats. We will also have the capacity to have 100 people+ at a time for day programs that address the impact of trauma on the mind, body and spirit, such as cooking classes, exercise classes, a therapy dog, support groups, meditation, and experiences in nature.

Drum roll please… we will be playing:

Of course! Please follow all signs and parking personnel to exit. All exits are final.

For $40, you can enjoy the festivities with your favorite humans from the comfort of your own car.

So are we! Resilient Retreat has taken many steps to accommodate for COVID-19. Attendees are encouraged to wear a mask and stay in their car or parking square, except to use the restroom or get food. Please see HERE for a full list of event rules.

Absolutely! We invite you to arrive to the event as early as 4:30 pm to tour the property and participate in our pumpkin decorating contest, all of which can be done from the comfort of your own car. Given the event is so close to Halloween, we also welcome you to come dressed in your favorite costume and participate in our social media costume contest!

Winners will be recognized with a prize at intermission.

Sedans, SUVs, minivans, and trucks are welcome to this event. Please leave your oversized vehicles and motorcycles/scooters/bikes at home. Magic carpets are permitted. 🙂
