An atypical journaling workshop for trauma survivors. Peer to peer.The focus is on identifying current emotions that deregulate us, recognizing the link to past experiences and organizing both sets of information into opportunities to regulate our brain circuitry. This workshop will introduce how journaling can be used as a tool for healing, releasing, responding to situations with purpose, mindful awareness, and reminding yourself of what is positive in your life. This will include prompted writing exercises and group discussions.
