Elizabeth Moschella-Smith, Ph.D.

Secretary, Board of Directors


Elizabeth A. Moschella-Smith received a Ph.D. in Social Psychology and a M.A. in Justice Studies from the University of New Hampshire and is currently a Senior Research Associate at Advocates for Human Potential, Inc. She is working on several projects funded by the Office on Violence Against Women to understand how the economic needs of sexual assault survivors impact their recovery and the National Science Foundation to evaluate prevention tools to reduce violence and harassment among marginalized communities. Dr. Moschella-Smith utilizes mixed-method designs in her research, including quantitative, qualitative, and longitudinal data, and has expertise in measurement development. She has volunteered as a victim advocate at crisis centers in Florida and New Hampshire for over a decade. Dr. Moschella-Smith is a founding Board Member and currently serves as the Board Secretary.
