Kelvin Foster, BCC., B.C.C.T.R., D.A.A.E.T.S.

Chaplain Kelvin Foster is Board Certified Chaplain and Diplomat of the American Academy of Expert’s in Traumatic Stress. Formerly serving as a Firefighter EMT, Navy Hospital Corpsmen, and Case Manager with the Department of the Veterans Benefits Administration, he has seen trauma throughout his career. He currently serves as the Chaplain for the North River Fire District, Manatee Memorial, and Blake Medical Center Level II Trauma Center. Chaplain Foster is a member of the Tampa Bay Regional Critical Incident Team serving first responders in five central Florida counties and recently completed the Tampa FBI Citizen Academy. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Sarasota Chapter of the American Red Cross and has been a public school mentor in Pinellas and Manatee County working with at risk students for many years. He strongly believes his faith and evidence-based practices can help heal those suffering. Safety, connection, and love are his trademark tools for healing the hurting. He’s married to Cindy, father of Frank & Kashae and granddaddy to Bryson. He is currently a Director of the Board for Resilient Retreat.
