Based on the pillars of trauma-informed care, Resilient Retreat provides free and confidential programs for survivors of abuse, first responders, and helping professionals to heal the impacts of trauma on the mind, body, and spirit. Acting as trauma navigators, Resilient Retreat helps community members impacted by trauma find resources while also receiving support. In addition to workshops and educational opportunities, Resilient Retreats offers participants the opportunity to try a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities, such as equine therapy, yoga, art and music therapy, experiences in nature, and more. These treatments are hosted online or on our 84 acres of conservation land, providing a safe place to empower our participants towards a life of resiliency and hope.

“The programs at Resilient Retreat have ALL been amazing. I don’t feel as alone as I used to. I feel like there are people out there who understand my pain and they have helped lessen it. I also want to learn as much as I can and help others I come in contact with on their own healing journey.”
“Resilient Retreat is a safe haven for all to grow and heal. I am very grateful and attended many program offerings throughout the past 2 years. I have gained coping and stress management tools as well as a sense of belonging and community. All staff are super special and supportive.”

“Resilient Retreat has really been there when I was searching for ways to deal with my Complex PTSD. I came cross the center when distraught and googling for support and immediately felt that this was a place for me. The connection was just what I needed. From the staff to the sessions offered, I felt at home. I never felt judged and always knew help was just a phone call away.”
“Yoga classes gave me the ability to get in touch with my body and not get engaged in body memories that would lead to dissociation or flashbacks. Being okay with my thoughts and my body is quite new. My life is so much better because of Resilient Retreat and I am thankful that such a place exists.”
“What an experience. Neurofeedback has really calmed my mind. I am more resilient in my recovery from trauma. I am calmer and the emotional hurt dissipates much faster than before the sessions. My ability to remain calm and have a clear mind is a result of the sessions. I am without fog.”
“I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to participate in Resilient Retreat! Every time I leave and go back to day-to-day life, I feel a sense of calm ad ease comes over me. Then I look forward to the next session!”
